DESCRIPTION

Two years ago, SULAYM was honoured to present something truly rare to our community. A fragrance that stopped people in their tracks. A decades-old Royal composition, used for the ceremonial washing and fragrancing of the Kiswah of the Ka'bah. It gripped our community from the moment it arrived, and to this day remains one of the most sought-after fragrances we have ever offered. Two years on, Ka'bah returns.
The profile is iconic for a reason. This Dhul Hijjah, two million pilgrims gathered around the Ka'bah to perform Hajj. The Incense rising through the air. The oud carried on the pilgrims themselves. The Ta'ifi rose water pressed into the carpets beneath their foreheads. Fragrance, in that place, does not simply surround you. It becomes part of the experience, lodging itself deep in the olfactory memory, inseparable from the act of worship. Ka'bah 1447 takes you directly there. To the Kiswah. To the black cloth that embraces the House of God.
What remained of Ka'bah 1990 in our vault became the foundation of Ka'bah 1447. Working from the original fragrance, SULAYM built this fragrance with every ounce of reverence such a task demands. It was an honour, but not an easy one. The result is a composition that experiences just like the original, if not more elevated. Faithful to its original scent profile.
At its heart lies a wild Cambodian oud from 2012, exotic and rare, chosen because only the finest would do for a fragrance of this significance. It is accompanied by HM Muateq from the 1980s, a pairing of extraordinary depth. Red Ruby frankincense from the Royal atelier helps to deliver the composition's signature camphoric power, while patchouli and Royal night jasmine lend it a reverent sensuality. The same amber and ylang ylang that graced Elysium weave through the heart, and the entire profile is lifted and brought to its full expression by 80% irones orris, Hindi musc, and Tibetan musc.
It is a recollection. Of standing before the Ka'bah, of air alive with millions in conversation with their Lord, of a moment that never truly leaves those who have lived it.

Experience Ka'bah 1447, a rare fragrance rooted in the scent tradition of the Kiswah. A majestic composition of aged oud, royal incense, Ta'ifi rose, and precious muscs, crafted in reverence to the Sacred House.
