DESCRIPTION
There are many diverse scents that envelop you as you walk through the holy sanctuary of Makkah—the fumigating bakhoor sold in the bustling streets, the primordial Hindi oud wafting as you pass the custodians in the Haram, the rose water sprayed on the carpets for the pilgrims, and even the distinct aroma of the marble as you bow down in prostration. Yet, among these myriad scents, one stands unparalleled—the fragrance of the Ka'bah itself.
This elusive scent, its recipe shrouded in mystery, has recently been unveiled by the custodians of the Haram. Comprising rose water, ZamZam, musk, oud, and a closely guarded perfume blend, this fragrance has captivated the hearts of many. Numerous houses have tried to replicate this scent found around the Haram, showing how pilgrims long to take this olfactory memory home with them. Previously not available for general sale, this extraordinary composition is an extremely rare treasure, typically exchanged only among royalty. At the request of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, it was gifted by the Saudis to the Sultan.
Sulaym is now honoured to present Ka'bah 1990 to our discerning customers, commemorating the beginning of Dhul Hijjah. This fragrance opens with a potent burst of camphor, establishing its commanding presence and impressive sillage. The heart reveals a delicate rose, symbolising love and reverence, seamlessly blended with the Hindi oud and camphor, almost as though it is a Ghaliyah. Designed to last for a long period on the kiswah, it holds unmatched longevity.
This fragrance not only embodies the spiritual journey of Hajj but also brings a recollection of standing in front of the Holy House of God. Ka'bah 1990 is more than a fragrance blend—it's an experience, a memory, and a tribute to the profound spiritual connection with the Holy Ka'bah.
