DESCRIPTION
HM Royal Bakhoor comes directly from the Omani royal reserve. A powerful, traditional incense blend which would have been used to fumigate the palaces of Oman.
When we received it in came in wrapped in a green seal, showcased in a velvet box and ribbon often found with the Sultan's fragrances. You can see it showcased on our Instagram (@sulaym.fragrances). This bakhoor carries a commanding profile built around oud wood, saffron, a rich amber perfume base, and notes of resin. The moment it touches the coal, the room transforms. The projection is immense. It fills the air within seconds, not just scenting a space, but claiming it completely.
You can sense why this would have been chosen for the majlis and private quarters of royalty. The blend seems steeped in the same amber core you may recognise from our earliest HM Mukhallat – that unmistakable, resinous amber depth that clings to fabric and skin. Once heated, it lingers for many hours, sometimes days.
We’ve carefully measured each amount into high-grade, UV-protective glass jars, selected specifically to preserve the bakhoor’s integrity for as long as you keep it. These jars are fully reusable and of high value, used to honour the value of what they contain and ensure you experience the scent exactly as intended.
As a final touch, we’ve created an exclusive Bakhoor Absolut – a concentrated oil extracted from the bakhoor itself and smoothed over with Royal Burmi oud (1979) and orris.
